GTA 6 Trailers
The first GTA 6 trailer was released earlier than planned due to leaks. It was supposed to drop on December 5, 2023, but Rockstar Games released it a day earlier. Rockstar Games president Sam Houser confirmed that the trailer would arrive in “early December” on the Rockstar Games X (formerly Twitter) account.
The first trailer, about 91 seconds long, confirms that the series is returning to Vice City. It showcases several locations like the Malibu Club and Ocean Drive. We also see the main characters, Lucia and Jason, in a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde scenario.
Rumors suggest a second trailer might come between May and August 2024. This prediction comes from X (formerly Twitter) users and is based on Rockstar’s past marketing strategies and comments from Take-Two CFO Lainie Goldstein. She mentioned that the company’s forecast for fiscal year 2025 is “a little above $7 billion for net bookings,” hinting at significant releases.

GTA 6 Gameplay
From the leaks, the gameplay looks similar to GTA 5. One leak shows Lucia holding up a diner and shooting hostages to keep them from escaping. Another shows Jason and Lucia stealing a police car and evading the cops. Jason can also lean out of a moving car and shoot with an assault rifle.
GTA 6 will have cars, boats, and a Metro system for city travel. Players can adjust car controls like the wheel’s position and chair angles.
Raw test footage reveals movement mechanics like a cover system, crouching, and crawling. The character can cover their face with their hands or weapons to avoid headshots. One clip shows Jason using a new vision ability similar to Deadeye from Red Dead Redemption, adjusting the footage’s color.
