Last year there were many popular movies and TV shows and in 2024 everyone wants to share their opinion on previous popular movies and TV shows. but there is a special event in which the experts get together to choose their favorite films and television from the past year. This event was named Critics Awards 2024, and now this year the event Critics Awards 2024 was hosted by Chelsea Handler. Today we will give you the complete summary of this event.
The film ‘Oppenheimer’ directed by Christopher Nolan took the most prices with eight wins the film got awards for the best editing, best picture, Best director, Best acting ensemble, best-supporting actor, best visual effects, best cinematography, and Best Score. Followed by film ‘Oppenheimer’ another film ‘Barbie’ also did well with six wins. ‘Barbie’ was awarded with the best comedy and best original screenplay.
Now take a look at TV categories, the previous year there were many TV shows but only a few were awarded at this event. Firstly, the TV drama name has succession won awards for the top drama category, and also, the lead actors like Sarah Snook and Kieran Culkin also received awards for their excellent performance.
Followed by succession be another TV drama ‘The Bear’s 2nd Season win the award for Best Comedy and Acting. Actors like Jeremy, Allen White, and Ayo Edebiri were awarded for their acting. Because of the TV show ‘Beef’ unlimited series actors like Mario Bello, Steven Yeun, and Ali Wong got the best acting award in their category.
